Charming Italy

I have traveled quite a bit to Europe, and in my experience, France and Italy are the world’s best art, food, fashion, and culture destination.

France is exquisite, so is Italy. But personally, what makes Italy outstanding are the people. Italians are the most charming, welcoming, good-humored, considerate and friendly – much more so once they know you. I experienced first hand how hospitable, warm and kind they are.

The simplicity of Italian food blows me away. Just with garlic, chili, olive oil, salt and pepper, the Italians can make a good pasta and be the best things I have ever eaten. Italian cuisine offers a large variety for me to choose from, and it helps that they are very balanced in calories and nutrients.

Besides the people who aged beautifully, Italy has the largest number of world cultural heritage sites and some of the most spectacular old cities in the world. To be able to walk through the Colosseum and the Roman Forum is like a walk back in time. And watching Aida the Opera, at the Arena di Verona, was like watching the gladiators back in the day.

During my recent visit, I visited charming small cities like Mantova, Lucca, Lerici, and Treviso. I was fascinated by the full of art (street arts included), history, ancient, ruins, specialties, and more. Every single city, town, and the village has its own charm and uniqueness.

Montova (8)Italy is beyond doubt one of the best places to visit for a romantic getaway. The country is surrounded by the variety of breath-taking beauty and romantic views.

Just by having an aperitif at the piazza, and watching the world go by, we will be smitten.
